About Us

Hello and welcome! 

Let me start by introducing myself. I'm Nicole, the creator of Thirty Miles North. I was born and raised in Michigan. I grew up in and around Detroit for most of my life. In 2008, I made the move to Oakland County... about 30 miles north of Detroit. Now, my husband and I raise our 5 kids and 2 dogs here in Walled Lake.

I'm a cosmetologist by trade, but I have always loved making things and being crafty. We decided to take my hobbies and turn them into something more. We have added so many fun tools and a craft studio to our home. Thirty Miles North is an adventure our whole family enjoys!
